Each game begins with antes or blind
bets and then the cards are dealt. The game is on. The goal is not to
win the most pots, but to win the most money. Next, there is a series of
betting rounds, in between which more cards are dealt. As the hand
progresses through the betting rounds, the individual bets are pulled
together into the pot. A player is awarded the pot if all of his
opponents fold and he or she is the only one left, or if the player has
