Moving the Casinos Over to Central America

Online casinos are always having a location problem as many countries and states still consider online casinos illegal. Perhaps it is the nature of the industry or because not enough policies have been made to clearly outline the position of online casinos but either way there is an issue of where to base online casinos out of.
In a recent WTO decision, the American government officialized that it is illegal to operate online casinos out of US soil. That left many online casinos looking for a place to base out of. American government is even forbidding its citizens to play in online casinos based out of Antigua and that is where the importance of the Central American Free Trade Agreement comes in. The CAFTA agreement allows for Americans to game in online casino much easier.
Although the issue of online casinos is one of legality there needs to be more established policies and official laws that determine what is allowed and not allowed in online casinos. It seems to be a gray area and it has players worried and curious about what will be the finalized results for the issue of gamers.
American legislators have claimed not to be worried about its citizens using the CAFTA policy in order to use gamers because in time they are planning to make American citizens banned from going to gamers in Central America countries.
The United States wants to impose laws that will make gamers illegal to not only be operated but to be played from anywhere within the United States. It is a controversial issue as many states want gamers and it is also controversial because land based casinos are legal in many states. Utah, which is a state that bans any type of gaming, can just move their policy over to include gamers. But for other states that do not have such a gaming rule they would have to establish a new rule that would ban any form of gamers whiles still permitting land based casinos to operate.
There has been speculation that gamers are getting such a hassle from the government because they are so new in the scope of things. Also, online casinos are harder to tax then land based casinos as there are hundreds of online casinos just in a dot com domain, not to mention the many other domains that online casinos have taken over. On a moral issue, governments are worried that there is nothing to regulate online casinos players from stopping themselves. They can also allow themselves to lose all of their assets and there is not enough monitoring going around.
Online casinos everywhere are beginning to recognize that in order for the governments to begin to legalize them and approve them they will have to also start making policies where they will promote responsible gaming and offer gambling addicts needed assistance. Some online casinos have already started to do so and are really promoting people to only game the money they can afford too.
